My Voice Experience

I made a Chinese Culture video for kids in my community. I voiced over for roughly half of the video. I also have experience performing in front of a live audience. I was the Master of Ceremonies for annual Girl Scouts Events for the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey.I also voiced over for a Taiwanese Hospital's powerpoint on the MRI procedure for Americans to listen to when they visit the hospital in Taiwan.

My Training

I am a college freshman and I have taken Drama for one year and had bit parts in the Taming of the Shrew and I played Becky's best friend, Tina, in Tom Sawyer. I have performed piano for twelve years and clarinet for five.I played piano in Merkin Concert Hall in NYC as a winner of the American Fine Arts Festival. I performed in choir for eight years. I have also published my poetry in the Cicada Magazine, NPR, Aspirations Literary Magazine,and my school's literary magazine.

My Studio Equipment

I use a computer with Audacity software in a quiet room.I also have a microphone that I speak into. I have Garageband and I can insert background music for recordings.

Additional Skills

I tutor Chinese to kids in the local area. I project my voice for presentations and for teaching. I accompany my choir on the piano.
I am currently working on more voice overs for the Taiwanese Hospital by translating their information about medical procedures into English and then voicing over my translation.
