My Voice Experience
As a performer, I have been heard as the character Laura on the morning cartoon, A.T.O.M. (Atomic Teens on Machines) and have been seen on such shows as Entourage, Strong Medicing and Boston Public.
When I was 14 I went to audition for a "grown up" musical theatre type gig in my small home town in Wyoming and realized I didn't know what I was doing, not to mention the total embarassment of screeching in front of all the other auditionees. After that I got into singing lessons and have been singing ever since. This type of working with my voice led me to an interest in voiceovers and have been studying and working for the last two years.
My Training
My voiceover training includes studying with Cynthia Songe and Susan Blu at Blupka studios for several classes up through their advanced animation class. I have also taken many acting classes including Improv with Second City and Acme Comedy Theatre, Acting at Black Nexxus and Brian Reise and many more. I have studied singing and voice for over 10 years and can sing and have the right singing voice for disney-like music as well as strong musical theatre and also opera.
