My Voice Experience

I had a lot of stage experience on the professional stage in Sheffield. I sang soprano for many years. I performed in musical theatre and grand opera. I also had quite a lot of reception and telephone experience during my working life. I am retired now but am very young in outlook. I enjoy laughing, listening to people, being sympathetic. I could do greetings voice mail and voice over jobs quite well. I have worked in hospitals, schools, universities and the private sector as a secretary for many years.

My Training

I had many many years of singing lessons, learning how to breathe and project my voice. I worked on a telephone switchboard for some years and became accustomed to speaking to different types of people. I have had some acting experience as I have taken lead parts in quite a few musicals and also smaller parts in grand opera.

Additional Skills

I am retired now but love singing and telling stories to my grandchildren. I use all sorts of different voices when reading o children. I can be silly, sad, bubbly, warm, caring, sensitive, and get on generally with people.
