I have been a spoken-word performer for 13 years. I have been MC, Host for several events over the years. Hosted my very own Show for threes years. Slam Team member in 2007. Was Dora the explorer for Kids Birthday parties for 2 years. Starred in Hit Stage Play "Desires of Your Heart" by Kimberly Lucus. Public Speaker for 10+ years. Advocate for Domestic Violence, MS and Cancer. Poetry Workshop/Event facilitator. I have recorded a full length CD of my own Works and a Monologue was used in an off Broadway stage play. Book Trailer 2012 for William Paul Young, "Cross Roads". Several Features in and out of the Country. Currently working on "A Conversation with G-Ma" and another Spoken-word CD.
I took acting classes in 2002, NY, part of the media team in 2007, NC, took journalism classes in 1999, NC. I have a natural attention grabber voice. Took piano lessons and voice lessons in 1997, NC. Studio recording since 97.

Felicia “The Inkstress” Albritton
A woman of integrity, great poise and possess a wonderful spirit to helping others
She is a spoken word artist whose Poetry has taken her to places all over the world: New York, Boston, Connecticut, Canada to name a few. Former member of the 2007 Bull City Slam Team, representing Durham, North Carolina. She along with her team members are ranked 18th in the Nation, after competing in national competition Aug. 7-11, 2007.
Although she has been writing poetry for 20 years, she has only been performing on a professional level for about 10 years. Felicia has appeared on several T.V. Shows and heard over numerous radio stations. She is the author of “Eternal Ink” and a CD of Poetry also titled, “Eternal Ink”. She is the Founder of Fabulous Ink Productions which Puts on a Poetry Show/ Open Mic the 4th Saturday of every month at Sweets Coffee Shop in Kinston North Carolina. It has been running since June of 2007. Spoken Word artist from various places have been featured. She also conducts workshops, ranging from school violence, peer pressure, self-esteem, and of course poetry. Felicia is also the Founder of “Youth MIND Tours” a non-profit organization which caters to youth, that has found themselves in trouble with the law and looking for an alternative other than turning to the streets. There motto: “Prison Is not an Option”. These tours are to enlighten youth to college life, the corporate world and the careers the military as to offer.
It doesn’t stop there she is also an actor, Felicia played the role of “Grand Ma Dotty” in the stage play “Desires of Your Heart” written and directed by Kimberly Williams. Felicia is at present playing the role of “Mabelle” in the hit stage play “The Secrets We Keep” written and directed by Kimberly Williams. Having written two plays herself she plans to take them on the road.
Felicia, former Probation Officer in Lenoir County she juggled her case load and still found the time to commit to her community and the gift of Poetry she was given from God. She is a member of Koinonia Christian Center Greenville North Carolina, under the Bishop Rosie S. O’Neal, where she has served on the media ministry.
