Voice Description

My voice is best described as deep and warm with a somehow soothing undertone. It can be smooth and professional for presentations or narration, but also sexy and fun for commercials or advertising.
I speak German as a first language, but have lived in Great Britain for the past ten years and studied English Literature at University in England. My studies also included French and Spanish, both of which I am not fluent in but I am able to do a perfect accent in both languages.

My Voice Experience

I am new to this business and have no work experience in the industry.
The only time I used my voice as part of my job in the past was as a receptionist and as customer service support.
I was successfull in both fields due to being a calming and soothing influence to sometimes enraged or dissatisfied customers or clients.

My Training

I have no training as a voice over, but I am confident in succeeding in the field once a door has opened.
As mentioned above, I have studied English Literature and my studies included reading material in front of audiences as well as publicly speaking.

Additional Skills

In my early twenties, I worked as a riding instructor for children with dissabilities and had to rely on my voice to controll the horse as well as provide confidence to the often scared riders by using my voice in variations, from soothing to encouraging to sometimes encouraging.
Years later, as a trainer of young horses, I kept relying on the use of my voice in order to install confidence in scared animals and by using it in a patient and warm manner I achieved many great goals.
