I am professional with corporate copy, but young and fun sounding when reading teen text. I also do some of the best sultry and provocative voice work. Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

As I am fluent in German, I can provide a real accent and play upon the German pronunciation with many other languages. I can sound very young, like a teenage girl or sophisticated. I can pronounce various medical terms and read copy quickly. I can do some characters with witchy, robotic and my favorite a "goaty" voice very similar to the witch in the movie Willow. I also do some of the best sultry and provocative voice work. I add wit charm and captivate all of my audiences.

My Voice Experience

My voiceover experience began fairly early. As an actress I gained confidence and had the pleasure to experiment with various voices and characters. Academically I have used my voice to coach clients and feel that the calming certainty that I bring to sessions is a significant asset. My interest in young adult and children’s literature has lead me into the audio book field which I greatly enjoy.

My Training

I have studied under Susan Berkeley and Pat Fraley. I have worked through an agency in the past and used voiceover in corporate recordings. As a coach I provide tele-sessions on a regular basis. I have volunteered for the Society of the Blind in Sacramento and am always lecturing or training. I am also a published academic writer and throughout college and grad school have used my voice skills to gain attention and presence.

My Studio Equipment

I have a small studio at home and can send recordings virtually through my high speed connection. I am close to several recording studios in the Sacramento/Tahoe area and as an experienced traveler can go anywhere if needed.

Additional Skills

I am a certified project manager (PMP), certified personal and executive coach (CPC) and certified records manager (CRM) in addition to being a credentialed librarian and records and information manager. Also am fluent in German and proficient in reading French. I bring a significant amount of credibility to any project and can work well under deadlines and with teams.
