My Voice Experience

During my undergraduate years I worked overnights for a small town radio station in East Texas. My sweet voice at night was calming and I even remember a listener or two calling in asking if I was married because if I wasn't they would sure like to come visit me at the station!! What a riot that was!

My Training

I have an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Communication from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). Some of my college course work includes, Broadcast Diction, News Reporting,and Intro to Broadcast. As a broadcast major, I also took part in UTA's student radio. My most memorable moment was when my student colleagues and I talked about 9/11.

Additional Skills

I am an excellent writer. I enjoy writing poetry and features pieces. I have worked as a writer for my junior college newspaper and look to have my first installment of poetry to be published in the near future. I currently work as a claims representative in Dallas, Texas and my job requires me to be on the phone a lot corresponding with nurse case managers, doctors, lawyers and injured workers. I have been told by many that my voice is calming, very friendly and hot!
