My experience started off with my father reading to me as a child as I prepared to go to bed. He would do a voice for each character and bring them to life in my head. It was a thrilling experience. And one I would replicate for my little sister and the children I babysat for over time. I would often find myself standing in front of the mirror for hours making up new voices and seeing how I could replicate them and distort them to my heart's content. I learned quickly in my social growth that I could use these voices to make people laugh and become friends with them. I so wanted to make more of my talent but I never knew how to or where to go. I loved to turn off the sound of my television while watching cartoons and make my own narration. For a while I had a position as a telemarketer and when I knew I wasn't being monitored I would often call people and use different voices and see how people would react differently to them. I have never given up on making voices and I still do it all the time hoping that one day I could be the next great cartoon character.
