Scottish, Character, Dramatic, Comedy, English
I am a Scottish native from Edinburgh.
I have previously produced podcasts as a hobby and read my own voice overs for my TV and photographic documentaries.
I considered myself a spoken word poet and writer and although unpublished I have written, acted in theatre in the Edinburgh fringe festival and have ability to act and do voices needed for characters.
Recently I signed a contract with a leading cola manufacturer to supply them with jingles and radio ads for their European wide advertising. This kind of work is relatively new to me in a commmercial sense but they seem to think I have a unique signature and have me reading all variations of fun, professional, sexy, smooth, witty and impersonations. I expect I would describe my voice as deep, concise and sincere normally but I have surprised myself by becoming entangled in the voice over industry. It was a good accident and I see some potential to supply others with what I am being told is "a real talent" by my current employers.

English, Scottish, Irish, Australian, Kiwi,
Comedy accents ranging from Sean Connery to nutty professors. I find it difficult to cover these on this profile.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone interested in trying me out.
My Voice Experience
First and foremost I love the way poetry has been delivered by some of the greats: Ted Hughes, Norman MacCaig, Kerouac, Plath to name but a few.
I have attended many open mic poetry sessions to perform my own material over about the last 15 years so I am a confident speaker and storyteller. I think this comes from my Celtic roots, as I grew up in a family of storytellers.
As a father I love impersonating characters when I read and joke around with children and adults alike.
I ran podcasts for my spoken words and a fishing show about a Sean Connery kind of character that people found funny and believable.
The spots I do for national radio in Finland are upbeat funny and silly. I am liked mostly by females in the 18-35 range who drink a lot of this world leading brand of cola.
Since I updated this profile I now have regular interviews for national radio in Australia where they love my accent.
As mentioned earlier I stumbled into my present contract by accident whilst telling a few jokes in the company of some radio executives. They asked me for samples. I am now interested to work more in this industry as I have the technical know how to capture clean, industry standard voice overs, jingles and deliver them myself.
I have access to recording studios 24/7
