My Voice Experience
I was recorded in a number of house music songs for a part of a female voice. I spoke and sang, sometimes imitated certain sound effects depending on the project.
Currently I've been working as an interpreter for "Language Line", where controlling the way my voice is projected is a big part of my job. At the call center I get calls from any and every walk of life, from 911 call, hospitals, police stations, financial institutions, banks, court rooms and even satellites! The calls come from all around the globe, UK, Australia, Israel, Philippines, India, which trained me to recognize many different accents.
So many times have I been complimented on the timbre of my voice, that I became convinced I should pursue it full time!
My Training
1985- 1997
College of music, Institute of Fine Arts in Russia.
All together more that 10 years of training in music and performance. Instrument - Piano/Voice.
2002-2005
Event Coordinator at the San Francisco State University. Was working on organizing various events on campus, such as concerts, public speaking, city and state election campaigns.
2008- "Language Line"
Interpreter to and from Russian. Interpreting in real time, requires strong mental concentration customer service skills.
