My Voice Experience

I started out ten years ago recording corporate narrations for Skillsoft. Since then I have branched out into diverse areas of voiceover. Broadcast work has included commercials for Kellog, Jameson Whisky, Audi and - most recently- a Trevor Howard sound-alike for Cash and Carry Kitchens that went out on national radio In Ireland. I have also recorded documentary work for Mint Productions, aired on RTE national television in Ireland. Corporate work has included e-learning projects for Skillsoft, Intuition Publishing and Interactive Services, as well as end clients Volvo, Audi, UN, WHO, amongst others. Educational work has included narrative and character reads for Riverdeep (now Houghton Mifflin).
I am also a highly experienced audio director, having directed audio projects in English, French and Spanish.

My Studio Equipment

For home recordings I work from a studio equipped with Rode NT1 microphone, with DBX preamp into Digital Performer or ProTools at 16 or 24bit depth, 44.1 or 48khz.

From my home studio I regularly deliver edited audio to a variety of repeat clients.

Additional Skills

As an audio director I have a great deal of experience of viewing an audio project from the client's point of view. I have project-managed audio and am up to speed on issues regarding quality, delivery, evaluation and trouble-shooting. In addition I work with a select team of audio engineers, all of whom are very experienced in dealing with the technical aspects of audio, and to whom I can turn for expert advice on technical issues regarding any individual project.
