Voice Description

People may not remember me, but, they always recognize my voice. I have landed interviews, jobs, invitations and even a few marriage proposals based on my voice talents alone. I can sound smooth, sexy and mysterious or I can sound like the news anchor delivering the goods over the radio. I have a beautiful singing voice, (trained), and I've been told I have 'perfect pitch.'
I love comedy; the zanier the better! My British accent is good, Dutch, my first language, is even better. I speak Spanish and French as well. Humour is great, but, I can also be very serious and professional when needed.

My Voice Experience

Over the years, my voice has been recorded in a radio play, on a Christmas CD, over the telephone and on overseas greetings. While my credentials do not reflect any recent voice over jobs, I know that I have the necessary skills to do this type of work well.
I have taken singing and voice lessons, worked in the field of journalism where a good voice is a definite asset, and, I presently use my voice over talents to raise my four teenagers. (lots of tenor notes blended with neurotic soprano squeals, always in key I might add. ) I love a new challenge, have great work ethics and really need some cash. Hope to hear from or talk to someone soon.

My Training

I first learned to be a voice over while singing in a country/rock band while attending college. It was a great opportunity to try out new things as there was generally no audience in sight. I also studied voice training (classical) in my teens and then switched over to a more bluesy style. The same exercises and discipline apply to all types of voice over jobs and I have the skills. My journalism experience and a post graduate script writing program have further helped me to hone my voice over talent.
