My Voice Experience

Most of my reading experience is in podcasting one way or another. I have read several short stories for Escape Artists Inc. which include stories for Escape Pod, Pseudopod, and Podcastle and am actively working with Interzone Magazine to build a library of short stories they will be releasing in audio/podcasting format online. I have done character parts in various ongoing stories online including Metamor City, Chasing The Bard, and Serve It Cold. I also appear as a guest in several podcasts including co hosting for Grailwolf's Geek Life, numerous appearances on the ADD Cast, interviews for Better Late Than Never and The Elmocast. Another upcoming project of mine includes me reading the lead role in a podcast novel.
I also sing and have had my music played on quite a few podcasts including Adam Curry's Daily Source code and many others too numerous to mention. My bands name is The Shillas and our song Faithful is the theme song for Nobilis Erotica, also for Nobilis I have recorded an accapella piece as an introduction in an upcoming podcast of his.

My Training

I went to American Model Group in Tulsa OK where I learned several skills including modeling, acting, interviewing and make-up. I have also been active in singing groups continuously since I was a child in various forms ranging from Chorus to being the lead singer of a band. I have been in a few jazz dancing groups and even been on the technical side of theatre.

My Studio Equipment

I primarily use garage band for recording with a CO1U usb studio condenser mic but also have access to several other types of equipment due to my connections in the podcasting community. As for what else is lying around the house, I have a Shure 8900, Takstar PCM 6100, and mobile pre amp.
