My first stab at VO was way back in 1996 when the Editors of a feature film on which I was working, needed a female ASAP to make "heavy breathing" sounds for a scene in which the actress was jogging on a treadmill. I happened to be in the right place at the right time. It only took me a few minutes, but boy, what a rush! Shortly after that experience, I signed up for some classes near where I lived in Los Angeles. Then, life happens. Rent, food, gas, bills to pay, I could no longer afford the classes and succumbed to life as an adult. Many years later I was fortunate enough to resume my VO education and to date have taken many classes and recorded my commercial demo! I'm actively on the hunt for my first gig.
