My Voice Experience

I suppose the very beginning of loving voice work for me began early on; when at about 10yrs old my cousins and I, would get together and play radio station. I just loved to be the disc jockey persona-and goofing around with voices while interviewing neighbors and friends "on the air".

August 2010--This is the beginning of my professional voice-over career. I have been auditioning for years in both NYC and Los Angeles in the commercial on-camera arena and feel I have a good handle on commercial material. I really enjoy creativity, matched with professionalism. I feel voice-over work will put my talents to good use, and I look forward to this new adventure.

My Training

I am a graduate of Fordham University's College at Lincoln Center, NYC. I had a great deal of training in how to work with my voice through the curriculum there. I also studied with Stuart Dillon in NYC. I worked with him to understand my voice, and which material is best suited to it. In these classes we recorded our work in professional recording booth.
In addition, I believe my work in the theatre has taught me a great deal about using my voice to create character. I have performed in a good number of off- broadway shows, as well as regional theater. I also did over 600 hundred shows on Ellis Island, playing a russian immigrant, greek immigrant and american girl all in the same show. I am often cast as very sweet, or gentle. Or very perky and comedic, with a flair for sarcasm.

My Studio Equipment

I have my own home studio, complete with a high quality microphone, and a recording/editing program. My Microphone is the audio-technica AT2020 USB Cardioid Condenser Microphone. The program that I use for my recording and editing purposes is Audacity (1.3-12 beta).

Additional Skills

I am a very focused individual, and I pride myself on being someone that can be counted on. I also have worked a great deal in customer relations, and most people who meet me are calling me "Sweetheart" within minutes.
