I have done many voice overs for LBTV station which is Long Beach's own city channel. I provide many different tones and accents for different shows they have.
I have also taken a voice over class with Nick Omana a famous Voice Over teacher in Los Angeles. There I learned how to go from goofy, fun character to a serious woman talking about medical problems.
I am in the midst of recording my own series of audio books for kids!
I also have recorded with 3 different bands using my guitar, mandolin and voice. The bands were Salty Suites Bluegrass Band, The Monas Rock Band and Peg Patricks Comedy Sketch Classics Audio Book.
I have a BA from Whittier College where I studied Theatre Arts and Communications. I know how to use my voice in any way, shape or form. I am also a musician and teach children's musical theatre and instrumental classes.
I have protools and garage band where I record most of my music and voice overs. I have microphones set up as well and a studio in my house where I can have complete silence to record. I also have access to two different studios as well where my husband edits, so its not a problem to record anything and send it over on a file
I have worked in the industry as an actress, comedian, PA, grip, you name it I have probably done it! I have also worked with LBTV and Circle Films in the fit bay transcribing and writing scripts for segments they need.
I get the job done, I work hard on the side with the city of Long Beach in their conservation dept. I work for the Nature Center there as well as for the wetlands. This job is part time so on the side I like to perform comedy, act in shows around the area and conduct voice overs.
I love performing stand-up and improv and it is what I do best. I am a fun loving gal that loves to talk, so voice overs are my thing! THANKS!
Warm Regards, Heather Boo
