My Voice Experience

Having a Scottish mother and growing up in a French community I have been practicing my accents since I was a wee girl. Being an actor and writer and a Pisces I am a cast of characters. One day I will discover my true identity but for now I am having too much fun with voice overs, whether serious or silly. I have recorded several educational and promotional CDs and videos from my naturopathic medical practice. I am in the midst of recording 23 character voices for the musical "The Calling Hour."

My Training

I have been on television and radio in various roles, and as a real life naturopathic doctor. Podcasting my own health show is the next step.

I have Groundlings and other comedic training as well as dramatic. My recent study of voice acting is with William Williams at Aliso Creek Productions.
Also a singer--presently training with Florence Riggs, and a dancer--Dean Barlow-tap--I have excellent rhythm and embody a whole character not a disembodied voice.

Additional Skills

Biology degree (BS) and ND (Naturopathic Medicine) from Bastyr University. Using hypnosis and visualization in my practice for twenty years as a doctor I speak in a soothing manner that allows people to enter a trance-like state effortlessly. This carries over to my yoga and sound healing classes.
