Voice Description
Light and airy for commercials, child-like and innocently imaginative for animations, girl next door or annoying neighbor. Calming and patient for book narrations, especially children's books and e-learning videos. The use of the robot vocoder (to make futuristic feminine robot voices) is useful for video games or science fiction animations. My Voice Experience
I started recording a few years ago to write and record weekly funny songs for my friends on Silly song Sundays. I took special requests. After falling in love with the microphone and the robot vocoder, I became friends with some very talented people in the video game industry. It opened up a new door of possibilities in the science fiction and video game voiceover arena. I then realized that I could write audio ads for my friends with local businesses to help their commercial websites. I realized that I enjoy all forms of audio communication, advertising, and story telling. Most recently, I made a video to enter in the miracle whip not for every relationship contest, and received second place on September 13, 2011. In this video, I have a demonstration of my singing an original jingle called "Double Dippin". I also work alongside the dental society as the Tooth fairy, giving presentations and live storytime readings to children. I enjoy all forms of digital communication and am flexible to my client's needs and direction. I am always up for a challenge and will be happy to assist you in any of your recording needs.
My Training
Professional VoiceOver training with Ginny Kopf (level one graduate 2012). As a student of Psychology, I am required to know current medical terminology and biological science terms, (microbiology/Anatomy and physiology) which is helpful for recoding medical texts. I have song writing and recording, performing arts, commercial and jingle writing experience. I am comfortable with the robot vocoder for video games and futuristic instructional demonstrations.
My Studio Equipment
Mac Pro, Logic Studio (Logic Pro 9) w/ Waves bundle and various other synths and sound modules, Dynaudio BM15A monitors, Motu Ultralite audio interface, AKG C 2000 B mic, Moog Slim Phatty synth, Nord Modular G2 synth, Ensoniq ESQ1 synth, Beyerdynamics DT990Pro headphones.
Additional Skills
Although my niche is in the video game and science fiction realm, I enjoy all forms of digital communication and am flexible to my client's needs and direction. Before my voiceover career, I worked for a promotions company working with different products and giving live stage promotional presentations. I recently started a promotions consumer review board in Orlando, Florida, promoting only the very best reviewed products.
