Voice Description
I naturally have a very happy, perky voice, fun and easygoing.
I can raise the pitch of my voice to immitate that of a very young female child, great for commercials,
I can also lower the pitch for a more authoritative sound, perfect for presentations, voice mail greetings, messages on hold and voice-overs.

My Voice Experience
I started my broadcasting career in elementary school, doing school announcements.
In my early teens I was always entertaining my friends by putting together my own radio show with my a blank tape and a duel-deck radio. I would intro and outro songs, and voice characters for "phone calls" from listeners.
I was in theater in high school, where I really learned how to project my voice.
Then when I was old enough to get a job, I went to work at McDonalds in high school, where I always work in the drive-thru taking orders. Customers always told me that I should consider a real career in broadcasting, because they said I had a great voice, very clear.
When I was 23 I enrolled at Broadcast Center in St. Louis, MO and from there got hired with Withers Broadcasting in 2001. While here, I have perfected my delivery: doing news for 3 years for our Top 40 station (WREZ-FM) and our rock station (WZZL-FM). I also do nights on WZZL and overnights on WREZ. I am regularly requested by clients to voice their commercials. And my young girl voice, a 5 year old by the name of Tiffany, is always in high demand for commercials as well. I also voice the outgoing message on the voicemail for the station. I also occassionally do commercial voice work for our sister stations in Cape Girardeau, MO and Mt. Vernon, IL.
My Training
I started in chorus in elementary school, where I learned how to project my voice, as I was always cast with a singing or speaking part in our school plays. I was in the school choir through 7th grade, but joined the church choir when I was 15.
I was in theater in high school, where I had to further learn how to not only project further, but also work on diction and enunciation, and acting.
My junior year in high school I took a mass communications class, intorducting me to the many forms of the communications industry and how each works individually, and with each other.
In 2000, I enrolled at Broadcast Center In St. Louis, MO where I focused on my on-air delivery: learning the difference between different kinds of deliveries, character voices, pitch and speed of delivery.
