I provided a voice over for the United States Army. The video was about the Comanche Helicopter, it's history, and uses today. I was the voice of the news reporter, telling about the latest movements of US troops. The video opened with footage of soldiers unloading from the helicopters, and my voice over provided the introduction to the video.
I attended the University of West Florida as a theatre major with my emphasis on acting. I have taken Acting 1 and 2, Improvisational Acting, Voice and Movement, and have been involved in stage plays, not only with UWF, but also with the Pensacola Little Theatre Traveling Troupe and with the Antrim Players. I have experience in both musical and non-musical productions and have performed as a soloist in several of the musical productions. I also took an Oral Communications class as an elective for my Associate's Degree in Psychology, which I completed in 2009.
I do not have a home studio at this time, but am working towards acquiring ProTools software with the MBox interface, as well as a professional quality microphone and headphones. I am extremely interested in setting up my home studio, and hope to have this accomplished within a few months.
I am very flexible and able to take direction. I do not become offended by criticism, and seek to hear responses that will allow me to expand myself as a voice over artist. I pour my whole self into my voice, and have always known that my voice is my instrument. I find new ways to use my voice, in an effort to stretch myself beyond the limits of my "comfort zone".
