Perky, Offbeat, Character specialist
For commercials I specialize in perky and upbeat or every-day woman, but I can also do soft and soothing sound. For narrations and audio books my voice is best suited for a younger crowd, colorful and light-hearted. For presentation I excel at very clean, "accent-free" narrations with extra clear diction. Animation is my overall specialty particularly in over-the-top character voices and young females.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I have several female characters to offer with various tones, pitch levels, accents and ages. While I can create many characters with my voice some of my best include female toddlers, children and teenagers; sexy noir / Mae West like women; evil villain / witch like women; and nervous or awkward side-kick characters. Speech impediments I can perform include multiple types of lisping and stuttering. Accents I can perform include southern belle, southern hick, New York(Gangster, Brooklyn, etc.), Ebonics, Italian, French, Mexican, British (RP, Cockney, Irish, Scottish), German, and more.
My Voice Experience
I have discovered that the art of Animation Voice Over is essentially theater without the physicality (at least not the kind that can be seen outside the studio). Animation Voice Over requires me to be melodramatic and over-the-top in my vocal expressions, something I've already been doing for years as a theater actress. I am new to the voice over industry, but I am super excited to get started and make an impact.
I have Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts with a concentration in Acting and Directing from Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont. I also recently finished an intensive 6 week course on Animation Voice Acting with William Williams at Aliso Creek Studios in Burbank, California. As well on working toward the creation of fun and exciting characters I also learned how to use recording equipment both practically and as a tool to enhance my sound.
While I have limited experience using my voice in the booth, I have years of experience using my voice on the stage and a seemingly endless array of characters inside me waiting to burst out.
