My Voice Experience

I have done commercial radio (WSMK 99.1 fm) urban contemporary. I started doing radio when I attended Andrews University in southwest Michigan. Was was the campus station.The format was classical and religious music. When I was at WSMK I produced radio drops,voice overs and commercials. I also hosted and produced a music TV show called H2o TV. I did alot of the editing and camera work. I started all of this in 1988 to 2008. Sence then I do alot of mobile DJing for different family,social and weddings. Some of these event require me to write small scripts and be vocal with a mic. I also worked retail at the Guitar Center in Mishawaka Indiana in there pro audio department.

My Training

I attended Andrews University. My major was makekting and comuncations. While there I worked at both campus radio stations. One being classical and the other jazz,contemporary gospel,some R&B and Hip Hop. From there I worked at WSMK 99.1 fm. I did some voooice overs and commercial spot for different clients.(McDonalds,the utilaty company,car dealerships,and other businesses). After that I did some mobile DJing for other radio station. I then found my self doin a TV show that was for mated for music videos. I did alot of editing and camera work a well as script writing.
I sang in the chior in high school and in college. It was mainly religious antehm and classical music. I also played trumpet from grade 5 to 12.
When I have a mobile DJing gig I use Sera to scratch live,which has become an industry standerd. I have used pro tools and other studio software programs.

Additional Skills

I have worked in retail for a number of years as well as being a mobile DJ for many different type of events. From strip to raves to dance to R&B clubs. I have done high school dances as well as family functions and wedding. All were very well received and I always got great reviews!
