My Voice Experience

I have been singing, writing songs and poetry for years. In 2000 I meet a producer, songwriter and DJ named Jaimeson through my brother. I would go to his studio and have jam sessions. On one occasion I performed the lyrics to a song I wrote while at college when I was 19. He mixed my vocal with a piece of music he had and begun playing it in clubs.
In 2002 we where approached by V2 records the track had been at number 1 on the club charts for 9 weeks, so word had got out and the track was in such high demand a kiss FM DJ (Jaz) wouldn't stop talking about it on his show. So I signed up as a featuring artist "True" entered the national charts at number 4 and sold over 80,000 copies nationally. I made countless number of Television and public appearances, performing and being interviewed travel all around Europe and some of the USA performing and working with other artists and produces.
The second single I performed on entered the charts at number 14" Take control"
The track was used on an advert for Ta Lusso the drink, I met the head of advertising at the MOBO Awards and someone told him I was good with my voice, so he asked if I would do the voiceover for the ad, it went out in winter of 2004.
I loved doing to and really wanted to do it again, but the music was quite demanding.
In 2004 we won club song of the year award for "TRUE"
I currently have songs in have performed on and written being used by Sony on their interactive projects. I'm still sing writing songs and poetry, I do performance poetry at the poets cafe in W1 sometimes, I teach Dance, Music and Drama workshops to adults and young people, dealing with a lot of vocal expression.
I'm currently write material for an up and coming female duo.

I can pretty much do whatever the client requires as a singer, I have a good range vocal trainning has enable me to do amazing things with my voice, I use alot of vocal percussion in my music, so make sound is also a talent of mine.
