Voice Description

If enough people tell me that I have an incredible voice, I am compelled to believe them. My voice can be very loud. It fills a room. It can come off commanding, as if I was Moses up on High. I can speak in baritone hush. I can remove all intonation from my voice to speak as a news reader. I can be sarcastic. I am passionate. My dry sarcasm comes off in perfect pitch when doing satire.

There are few styles of diction and syntax that I can not perfect.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Raised in South Philadelphia, I am familiar and seasoned in the many accents that make up the various regions of the Northeast United States. Watching films and television shows over and over again, I can mimic dialogue with identical speech intonation. My British accents are slightly raw---but, I can do Cockney, Scottish, and Irish accents.

Living in Utah for five years, I have mastered different "Southern twangs". Utah has many people from Old Dixie who have relocated here.

I have a wide array of voices and personalities that are easily identifiable.

My Voice Experience

I have no voice over experience. When you call me to offer me work, you will have an untapped talent that will place your name next to mine when I am world famous.

My Training

I am soon to graduate from Utah State University. During my time I took many classes in the field of journalism and communication. I have trained with members of Utah Public Radio.

I worked four hours of election night coverage for KVNU in Logan, Utah. An archive of my performance can be provided upon request.

I have recently been given time on KVNU to present 3 minute commentaries. I have also been promised more air time as a co-host.

For 3 years, I hosted a highly popular trivia game. My audiences reached over 95 people in a large room on many occasions. I never used a microphone. My voice was able to reach the entire room without one.

I have stage acting experience from my high school years.

My Studio Equipment

I have no equpiment. I can gain access recording studios for both KVNU and Utah Public Radio with reletive ease.

Additional Skills

Simply put, I have no fear of speaking. I am great at it. I love it. I like connecting with people.
