Voice Description

At heart my voice could best be called mellow midwestern. I can deliver good solid Standard American English in a polished and sophisticated sound for narrations or industrials. But that is not to say I can't be everything from conversational to comic, a little downscale to a little down south, when it's called for.
When mentioned by others my voice has always been described as distinctive and memorable. That can't be bad for your voice overs!

My Voice Experience

When it comes to real professional voice over experience I have none. But I have every reason to believe that will change soon.

My unpaid experience includes everything from theater performances in high school, to moot court presentations in law school, to singing soloes at funerals (yes I have a pretty good singing voice). During my 20 plus year career in the brokerage business had experience as diverse as recording the on telepone answering messages to leading department meetings.

My Training

My formal training thus far has come from workshops at The Talent Center and its director Don Cosgrove who has passed on some of his 30 years of experience in everything from legitimate theater to local and national commercials.
