My Voice Experience
Thirty plus years in Radio has offered many challenges of which I have tried to answer. I do some television voice overs locally, and have done a narration about the restoration of the downtown area of one of the cities nearby. For the past few years I have produced the opening sequence to the Taylor County Junior Miss pagent, show music and opening voice over to begin the shows as well as M.C. which I do to help further the goals of the young girls future. I try to help those who call on me.
My Training
Over thirty years in the Radio Business and natural born talent has helped me do what I do. No schools or studies. I am also a self taught musician and have been part of a family musical band, and then progressed to work and travel with a professional road band performing in various states.
My Studio Equipment
I have my own studio in my home which I built and wired myself simply out of necessity. I run a studio quality Mackie board, and high speed dual core processing computer with professional recording software capable of handeling most audio work. Quality microphone and sources for mixing, and gathering elements, parts and music to build audio tracks. (CD, CASSETTE, 8-TRACK, TURNTABLE, REEL TO REEL.)
Additional Skills
Over the years, I have played music, recorded music and edited music in one form or another. I am also as it has been said, a jack of all trades, master of none. I am mechanically inclined and work on my own automobiles, appliances, household repairs which includes walls, floors, plumbing, electrical, roofing etc. I have built three buildings, built fences and other various things when they were needed. I grew up and lived in the country and helped family members on farms and ranches. I do electronic soldering, wiring and repair if needed. I can do many things and most all of them were self taught.
