My Voice Experience

"You should do voice over work!!!" This is what many people have said to me for years. So, here I am!
I was asked to do audio work (making the tapes for classes) at school for a teacher's punjabi class.
I gave presentations all the time as a psychologist in England and was asked back frequently.

My Training

I have had no formal work on voice overs, however as I earned my Undergraduate, Teaching and then Masters degrees, I had to practise and hone my presentation skills extensively. As a teacher, you are a performer all the time in fact! As a Psychologist I was the chair at most of the meetings I attended and led them with a clam, clear manner. I also gave many presentations and teacher training events in my work, requiring much work and thought about voice projection, tone, attitude and maintaining an audience's attention.

I have been a teacher in a high school for several years and then worked as a Psychologist for 6 years. Both these careers involve nothing but communication with others - vitally - effective communication with others. this was something I excelled at. Since then I have been a stay at home mum.
