My accents and Dialects include London English, Cockny,English rustic country(yorkshire), Northern Irish, Southern Irish, New York Irish,Edinburg Scot, Glasgow Scot, Highlands scot,Georgia Southern Gentleman, Louisiana Cagin, TEXAS good old boy, California Hippy, Hispanic, French, German, Russian, Hungarian, Italian, New York, Brooklyn, New England, Ausralian, East Indian, Chinese, Japanese, DJ, and many more. I might need a couple of days notice to get rid of any inconsistantsies before recording. I do puppets voices also, one is a beaver that sounds like Alec guinness as a chipmunk. Earnie and Elmo from Sesame street. You might compare me to Robin Williams. I can be sweet and cuddly, or sarcastic and piercing. Intellegent or stupid, spiritual or businesslike. I can sound like a standard American Announcer, or a Hindu Swami.

My Voice Experience

I do characters.I come from a very dramatic jewish family, so I got involved with storytelling, accents and Dialects, singing,arguing, and even shouting very early on. I've performed many times outdoors without amplification, and put many a child to sleep with my lullabies.

My Training

I took Dialects from Jerry Blunt, one of the greatest Dialect Teachers in Hollywood from the 40's,50's, and 60's. In 1972, I took the last class he taught before retiring. He wrote the book "Stage Dialects", the first dialect book to include accompanying recordings from around the world.
I've traveled extensively around the country, so many of my regional voices are as authentic as can be.
I have done vocal meditation practices and can make the sounds of Tibetan Monks, Mongolian throat singers, and can hold an OM for over sixty seconds on one breath.
I have taken extensive voice culture classes from Hindu and Muslim Raga singers which is considered to be much more refined than western vocal techniques.
