Voice Description

I believe I have a pretty wide range in terms of how I can contort my voice so that I can immitate a wide range of characters. Overall, I do pretty well when I can speak in a cool and fun manner for commercial advertising but specifically for voice-overs I can deliver in a wide range of characters, voicing in the mannerisms of a young boy, teen, middle age and elderly males come fairly natural, ever since I was a kid I love to immitate celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Jackson. However, the best quality of my voice is creating unusual and abnormal voice, I do really well with creatures, maybe things like monsters and aliens by inflecting my voice.

My Voice Experience

I will admit, I don't have any experience specifically within the field of doing voice-overs. The only thing close I've done is a Public Service Announcement for the city of Bellevue in 1998 where I explain the importance for parents to go out and do outside activties with their children but that's about it. But I am interested if there are any entry positions because I've always been told that I have the natural talent to create all kinds of voices easily.

My Training

My mother has a background in music, she is certified to teach piano and she sings as well as a hobby. I, specifically, have not have any formal training whatsoever, this is just something I hope to explore.

Additional Skills

The jobs that I've had in the past reflect mostly on customer service and talking to people, so it was always important for me to keep a clear, strong, stable voice to make my job easier. Like I described earlier I do not have much experience or training but I believe my voice is very versatile and through demos and recordings I can show this versatility. I also am graduating with an English BA so I have a knack for both the coloquil and non-coloquil ways in speaking English.
