My Voice Experience

Just imagine, you're walking through your local grocery store at the end of a long day with no ideas for dinner tonight, when a soothing voice of reason and encouragement slips into your subconcious via the overhead sound system to tell you about the deli's ready made stuffed fillet of sole, drenched in garlic butter and lemon juice served with a side of balsamic couscous. All for $6.99. There's a good chance that this wise voice of reason is me! With 3 national grocery chains as clients, my voice is heard and recognized by many hungry people! Additionally, messages on hold have carried my voice into Fairmont Hotels and Resorts as well as a national chain of Chatters hair salons and a regional savings company. You'll find me on the net as the voice of an international tourism campaign for Travel Alberta as well as in many training films for the international chemical company Nova. I include in my list of commercial clients Honda and Burger King. If you're hungry for an experienced flexible voice talent, it would be my pleasure to audition for you! Namaste.

My Training

As a singer and an actor, voice over has become a natural fit as it combines the two disciplines of vocalizing and acting beautifully! I am a trained jazz singer with a background in music composition and ad production. I have had the great gift of training with Cheryl Fisher for 4 years from the University of Miami jazz vocal department as well as the esteemed voiceover coach Dan Wilmot, based out of Los Angeles, and most recently an amazing vocal instructor named Richard Armstrong from New York University who I plan to study with further. Voice is my passion!

Additional Skills

My experience in ad production has given me the distinct advantage of seeing a script through the eyes of the writer, and as a former bridal shop owner, through the eyes of a paying client who wants the job done right. I enjoy composing music as well as written work. My personal areas of interest are yoga, energy medicine, learning french as a second language, jazz and pop music and anything related to children and their well being.
