My Voice Experience

I am diversifying a performing arts career. I've done one private production company voice over job for the Glen Echo Puppet company, including singing and speaking and a multi role recording of Our Town for a local producer. I am currently a member in good standing of the American Guild of Musical Artists, singing with the Washington National Opera at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Supplied Voice Over for a text book cd on Speaking American English, used at several Community Colleges in the Washington DC suburbs.

My Training

I have a Degree in Music in Vocal Performance, from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC While in college I took numerous courses in acting, Readers Theatre, public speaking and Speech. I've performed with the Washington National Opera in the Kennedy Center for over 25 years. I have over twenty credits toward a certificate with Iatsi, Stagehands, local 22, Baltimore/Washington shop with classes in sounds boards and audio equipment.

I have a Dual Processor Toshiba laptop using an Mbox2 with Pro Tools 7.4 and a Groove Tubes GT57 Mic.

Additional Skills

I'm a middle aged, father of two grown children, lived in Maryland suburbs all of my life, married to the same lovely wife for 29 years. I worked as an Avionics Electronics tech in the Navy for 4 years, traveling Europe and the Mediteranean. I also toured with the Washington Opera to Japan. I've sung National Anthems with the Baltimore Orioles, the local Triple A Baysox and the Washington Capitols Hockey team. I've driven a truck, worked in wharehouses, painted houses, worked as a stagehand, had a Maryland Insurance License, taught Drivers Ed with a MD license. I've also extra'd in several movies through Central Casting in Baltimore.
