Voice Description
I suppose there's a good reason I was always cast as the Narrator in all the school plays when I was kid. My voice is naturally both gentle as well as professional, and I have only learned over the years to add varying emotions to those existing qualities.
My range of characterizations is also fairly wide, from age to dialects. I can do small children (boys or girls) and teenaged or adult women. Having studied dialects in college, my list is fairly long. I master new dialects quickly when needed.
I speak some French, not fluently, but enough to be understood. I took four years of it in high school (well, three - they let me skip the third year). I was always better at reading and speaking than I was at writing and hearing, so doing a voice over in French probably wouldn't be a problem at all.

My Voice Experience
From March to September of 2006, I worked in the Characters department of Paramount's Kings Dominion, where I had the privilege of being one of the alternate hosts of the Meet the Nicktoons show that was performed at the end of each day. This required the ability to perform several energetic dances and announce each one just as energetically inbetween!
Most of my experience has come in the form of stage acting, though for a few of those plays I acted offstage into a microphone as "the disembodied voice." In high school I competed on the Forensics team for four years, taking part in just about every category there was. These days, my voice over experience comes in the form of doing little pet projects for friends. Most recently, a narrative for a still-in-the-works internet-based video that will (eventually) be the history of a fictional world.
My Training
Attended Virginia Commonwealth University for four years as a Theatre major with emphasis on Performance. During that time, I've taken many various voice and speech classes, varying from dialects to Shakespeare. I also attended an extended voice acting workshop led by Chip Bolcik.

I also sing, and can provide mp3 example, if requested. I've played the flute for more than ten years, so I definitely know how to read music.
