Voice Description
I'm your basic Southern California male voice, professional to surfer dude to cowboy, I can do them all. Deep warmth and projection for narrations, all the way to being the quintessential Californian.
I have technical experience in the sciences (Anthropology/Archaeology/Paleontology), so I'm adept at technical terminology, too.

My Voice Experience
At this time, I'm a neophyte in this business, honestly. My primary experience has been in video spec projects, submitted to major companies for employee training programs. Secondary experience has been doing on-site safety videos, using sfx and live action.
My Training
Primarily self taught at this point, however, learning never stops and I'm attending various classes now to learn more about this art. My primary education was as a Field Archaeologist, so I'm quite used to technical terminology.
My Studio Equipment
Computer is a Compaq SR1810NX, running 2 gigs of ram, with a 3.2gig Athlon, sound board is an M-Audio 2496, linked to a Behringer 802, mic is a Shure SM7, monitoring via Sony MDR-7506 and Altec Lansing speakers. Primary software is Audacity, and of course the Delta AP from M-Audio. I'm on broadband cable, so fast access to FTP/email, and large files are no problem. Skype is also online for me.
Additional Skills
As I've mentioned, I'm adept at technical terms, specifically relating to the sciences, but also certain industries - such as machine operations. I'm also used to military terminology, I'm a Ham Operator so I'm used to radio prowords, I've been active in Search and Rescue, and I've lived abroad for several years (Czech Republic, Germany)
