My experience in voice over has been confined to radio. I have done numerous commercials for local radio stations, WCNS, WLCY, WLSW, WQTW. The most enjoyable radio commercials I recall doing were for the various entertainers that were coming to the local area. My commercials were for entertainers such as Bobby Vinton, David Summerville, Peggy March, Joey D and the Starlighters,& Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Also, Country Music Artists, The Poverty Neck Hillbillies, and Gary Allen.
All of my voice over experience has been obtained by local individuals "hearing" my voice and asking me to do the voice overs. I have NO formal training in this field. I have emceed over 700 wedding events in the past 13 years, as well as emceeing local business meetings and award banquets.
For the past 20 years I have been employed as an Airline Captain with a Major Air Carrier. Communications and proper word choices were of paramount importance when dealing with the public. When many of the fellow flight deck personel heard my voice, they would immediately defer ALL of the public address to me for implimentation, and dissemination.
