Voice Description

I have a very malleable voice and can manipulate it to produce almost any desired effect. I can speak naturally and cleanly in ranges from a strong baritone to a high, pre-teen. Warm and smooth for projects of greater weight; bright, crisp and lively for projects with high energy. As a practicing attorney, I have a lot of practice delivering smooth, professional and authoritative presentations in courtrooms and boardrooms.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have a neutral accent, but grew up in the American south. I can slip into southern dialect and accents with ease. I can also emulate urban dialect and accents--anything from a homeboy, to a cowboy, to a college student or attorney at law. I can enunciate with great clarity and precision, or speak with a more relaxed intonation to give the right feel to any project--even drawling, lisping or slurring my speech to fit whatever is needed.

My Voice Experience

I have performed as a lead singer in R&B and rock bands for over 8 years. I have never done formal voiceover work, but I am very familiar with manipulating my vocal delivery to match the subject matter being presented.

Voice, beginning in church choir and school ensembles for over 15 years. This includes performances in musicals.
