Voice Description

My basic voice as a whole is deep, warm, mature and sexy but I guess I was born with the natural ability to "immitate" and "mimmic" many different voices since I was a child, and as my voice changed throughout the years, my range has vastly expanded.
I can do an old, aging man on the street to Sly Stallone. Some others include: Cristopher Lloyd, Sean Connery, Johnny Carson, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Robert Deniro, Jack Nicholson, Robert Shaw, Christopher Walken, Ving Rhames and I'm currently working on Charlie Sheen. As far as accents are concerned, I can do a little Irish, Russian, German, VERY good Latino and Old English, African American (any age) and I am also very flexible with any type of "cartoonish" type characters.

My Voice Experience

When I was in High School, I took Drama and Public speaking for 4 years and excelled at it. After that was about 5 years of acting at various teachings and classes around here in Long Island and Manhatten. Reading short stories to children at local nurseries was something I did for a brief peroid of time and on a lark, I was asked to be a "surprise" guest at a local Police Dept. for a Teen Situation Awareness class in which I was to play the part of a crazed lunatic who bursts into the room with a gun and demand that everyone stay calm and DON'T MOVE! Hence, my loud, booming voice got everyone's attention. heehee

My Training

For years I would talk into a cassette recorder in a radio DJ type of way to try and develop my own style and with my love for music that was the path I chose starting in early '95. So, I started my own mobile Dj thing and Deejayed many Birthdays, all night beer bashes, weddings and others debaucherous gatherings. In between that, I attended Steve Garrin's Voice Over workshop in New York City in which I recorded several commercial copies for a demo. Later on,(including present day) I have Deejayed many clubs and bars and I am now finishing up my own V.O. demo which will be available upon request to any interested parties for future prospects.
