Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

• I can speak some Spanish fairly well; people in LA often think it sounds more Argentitian in dialect than Central Latin American.

• Although I wouldn't say I'm particularly adept at any one accent or dialect per se, I would have to say that I do have the rare skill of being able to hear & then immediately replicate many nuances of any given voice; essentially an immediate impersonation of anyone's voice...I'd say it's insanely accurate about 2/3 of the time, pretty decent the other third. Play me a bit of the voice you heard that you want it to sound like, and it's done! For an example, check out my urban read in my "Black Men Revealed" spot...not too bad for a white boy from upstate NY!

• I have a great highly-energetic animation character with an upper-midrange-y, very "present" voiceprint that I have yet to record...will do & post soon!

My Voice Experience

After working as a producer directing voice talent for TV spots and trailers for four years at Alkemi Entertainment here in LA, I switched over to freelance editing exclusively and found that my years of directing talent coupled with my good voice & sound engineering skills made it easy to get the voice over gig for everything I was cutting. I built up my reel considerably over the past few years while editing & reading projects, and a few months ago decided to take it to the next level. Now I've been getting fantastic auditions (and experience with varied copy) from both one of the best managers & one of the best agencies in town for the past few months & look forward to furthering my relationship with them and turning voice over work into my main career. It's a good time to get me to read on your project before they cement my rates higher! Thanks!

Additional Skills

I'm an excellent audio editor / mixer with a great ear and a high expectation of quality. I also occasionally write copy as well & just finished a few projects for Sony Pictures Television that I wrote, edited, narrated & mixed all myself; no other vendor needed, saving them tons of money (especially when you consider how much it costs to get a good mix!)

I'm also a musician & play bass, guitar, piano, drums, midi orchestration, electronic music, sing, etc...
