Additional Skills
I enjoy reading to my son and getting enveloped in the characters I portray. I have a unique talent to place a voice with make believe characters. Current favorites are "Doctor Zavorak" who speaks in a thick Slavic accent with broken grammatical English (comes in handy when my son gets hurt and needs to play doctor to put a smile on his face). There's Randy McDandy, who is an uppity early 20s salesman. His friends Larry Longarm and Freddy Farts are late teens without much ambition. I enjoy allowing my voice acting skills manifest fun characters which add some fun and silliness to my life. Also I enjoy playing established characters in the books I read my son. All the Thomas the Tank Engine characters have their own persona. I really get into finding the key words within a sentence and give them emphasis. I think rate and imagining the feeling a word possesses gives the most meaning and life to a story. The same is true for production work. I voice act with an objective in mind. I have been told by many people that I have a great voice. Let it work for you!
