Possess years of actor-training, working as an undergraduate with Angela Konrad (T.W.U.), and Ron Reed (T.W.U. / Pacific Theatre), and with the graduate instructor, Ned Vankevich (L.A. producer). Workshops included training from Mel Tuck (Gastown Actors Studio), and Ann Forry (Vancouver), and on-camera coaching from Neil Schell (A.W.A.) and Deanne Henry (private). Awarded 2nd Place in 5th A.W.A. Monologue Contest (1997), judged by Hollywood North casting directors. Stage: played The Colonel in Sharon Daggett’s The Ghost Sonata (Strindberg), The Messenger, in Lloyd Arnett’s Hippolytus (Euripedes), Oberon, in Arnett’s version of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Antipholus-of-Ephesus in John Trottier’s Comedy of Errors (Shakespeare). Also collaborated with Trottier for two-years as an improvisational-actor in T.W.U.’s 11:O7 Theatre Sports. Also appeared as Randy, in Tom McEntee’s original Salt of the Streets, played Elisha Whitney in Footlight Theatre’s Anything Goes, and spent one-year as an improv-actor with The Friday Night Panic Squad at CLUB 316, in New Westminster.
