My Voice Experience
I started out talking into a microphone at age twenty. Talking into the microphone of my flight helmet, that is, as an Army helicopter pilot.
After a distinguished career, serving in many countries, and working with a diversified group of both American and foreign military specialist I took up a second career as a computer application software trainer.
For the last ten years, in my current occupation as manager of a Interactive Multimedia Instruction team for a large Department Of Defense contractor, I have often been spokesman, narrator, or voice behind the scenes for our distance learning efforts.
My Training
Although I do not hold a degree in communications or journalism, I do posses post graduate degrees.
My training has come on the job, however, I am thoroughly familiar with both andragogy and pedagogy, the readiness to learn, what part experience plays in learning, what orientation to learning, and the motivation to learn play, not only in education, but in communications as well.
