Voice Description
Well-spoken English Home-Counties voice that's clear, deep, full and rich. I easily add a Richard Burton resonance to my speech, without making it Welsh.
I also speak a very good American accent, again deep and full.
I'm available for all voice recordings, radio, advertising or any voiceover work.

My Voice Experience
I came to looking for Voiceover Work after gaining a singing, principal part in The King & I. My director, after hearing me deliberately talk one of my songs - "We Kiss in the Shadow" -used that version in the show, and feedback from the audience said my speaking voice and delivery more than made up for the unusual presentation of this song.
My Training
I've had no formal training, though years of reading stories for my children, plus a fascination with the written and spoken word, together with spending much of my working life on the telephone, mean I'm well equipped.

Additional Skills
I've been a Managing Director of an Export Procurement company with a $6m turnover. I left to go to college from which I left in 2005 with the top qualification in Countryside Management. The college have since employed me part-time as a teacher. It is teaching that showed me my voice is a tool, and like the countryside crafts I teach, the tools need attention, care and pride.
