Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I was born and raised in southern New England and had a good deal of exposure to Northern New England family members including my own Mother and quite a bit of exposure to southern family members. Although I have lived in the mid-atlantic states for over 25 years, I still have some sort of unusal accent and most people are unable to decipher my origin. Many strangers have commented on the accent as being so "nice to listen to" and have asked me to keep talking so that they can try to determine where I am from. (No one ever guesses correctly) Often people think I could be from the midwest or the south.

My Voice Experience

I have been utilized over many years as the voicemail message on numerous offices for a Fortune 500 company that I worked for. Long after I left the company to seek a new opportunity, they continue to utilize my voice on their messaging system. I have actualy been told by former employees that they routinely call the company "just to hear my voice"

My Training

I have had a great deal of training in Public Speaking, in addition to a tremendous amount of sales training. I have delivered a number of sales presentations to large groups. I also have had a great deal of training in journalism. I have a liberal arts degree.
