My Voice Experience

As a longtime morning radio personality, disc jockey, and football and basketball play-by-play announcer, I have voiced hundreds of promos and commercials for such clients as McDonald's, General Motors, John Deere, State Farm, and (years ago) Chicken Delight.

My Training

Learned radio mostly through experience, having started on my 16th birthday as a disc jockey before school in the morning and after school in the afternoon. Performed in several school plays in high school and college, where I majored in English. Edited my high school newspaper and became Program Director and morning personality at several radio stations, where I also did play-by-play sports including high school football and basketball state championships in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
