Voice Description

My voice is a deep commanding base that often causes people to remark that I must be in some kind of broadcast communications when they hear me speak. My vocal range extends from the delivery of a humorous thirty second spot to a dramatic narrative. Making the transition from light hearted to romantic comes easily due to my training in drama coupled with nearly twenty years of voice-over experience.

My Voice Experience

A good friend who worked in the broadcast industry was acquainted with my work in radio, and assisted me with obtaining voice-over jobs.
A number of the contacts that he made on my behalf resulted in long term relationships that kept me quite busy doing a full range of voice-overs which included everything from thirty second spots to full length industrials.

A number of the production companies that utilized my talents appreciated my ability to take direction, and the manner in which I adjusted for those assignments that were given to me.

My Training

My voice-over training began with public speaking and drama courses while I was still in elementary school. I continued to take public speaking and debate courses throughout both my high school and college years. I later earned degrees in both political science and secondary education.

My training continues with occasional drama courses, and I do participate in local drama productions when time permits.

This enables me to make constructive suggestions which can enhance the script provided by the client.
