I have a South African accent, which has had some favourable responses from quite a few callers into the contact centre. There have been many occasions when people try to guess where I originate from and generally Australia is their first guess, then New Zealand, in that order. Very few manage to guess South Africa first.

I've have had no Voice Over experience at all, but thought I'd give it go and see where it takes me. It was just a thought after some favourable responses from some customers I deal with. Educated in Rhodesia up to 1981. Completed 5th year secondary school and managed 3 'O' levels in Maths, Science and Technical Drawing. Then Left the country to move down to South Africa and started my working career. I don't have any fancy audio equipment. I do have a standard Windows PC with webcam and built in microphone, connected to the internet via a 16 Mbps broadband connection. While I was at School in Rhodesia, I became a member of their School Pipe Band as a Side Drummer, and after being in the band for little over a year, the school sent us all over to the UK to compete in a number Scottish gatherings in 1979 of which we managed to bring home a few trophies and a lot of pride. I am a dedicated Snooker fan and I try to play as often as possible. I also have an interest in 8 ball pool in which I also compete. Flying has also been at the top of my list, when it comes to hobbies, and I use my Microsoft Flight Simulator on a regular basis.
