My Voice Experience

Operating my own studio and production company, I offered voice over services for a variety of projects including radio commercials. From 1981 to 1996 my work included contracts with Canadian Tire, Muskoka Chrysler, Pembroke City Centre, Parry Sound Mall, amoung many others. I also worked in FM radio as an on-air radio personality, and eventually became news director.

My Training

I built and operated my own recording studio/production company, working with musicians, as well as producing radio commercials and advertising campaigns.

I was trained in FM radio, and worked with some of the best writers and announcers in the industry.

My Studio Equipment

Various mics including Audio Technica, Shure, AKG. Recording DAWS include Akai DPS12 (12 track recorder); KAE 16 track DAW; Peavey RQ200 mixing desk; various compressors and audio processors.

Additional Skills

I've got great productions skills, am very meticulous, paying attention to the details. I love editing, and I consider myself to be very good at it. A good edit is never noticed. The skills were honed in the studio, working with amateur musicians and analogue tape, "fixing it in the mix".

Amoung recent projects is the recording of nature sounds, and the development of an extensive library of nature sounds, wind, rain, storms, environmental sounds, birds.

I'm a musician/composer, have access to various instruments and write music in various styles and genres.
