Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Well, grew up in New York, spent several years in the South, and ended up in the Midwest. As a result, I picked up qualities from all of my travels, including the ability to emulate those dialects very, very well.

My Voice Experience

I worked in the software sales arena for quite a few years now. Specifically, I was responsible for the technical side of sales -- you know, trying to make the latest version of our software actually sound sexy. Much of my voice work was live, in front of a studio -- er, IT department -- audience. I had to be authoritative and warm, knowledgeable and engaging.

In addition, I recorded several webinars and demonstrations around our software and the markets we served. They were used on our company's website to introduce prospective customers to our products and to share customer experiences with webinar attendees. I served both as emcee as well as product expert.

My Training

I'm currently working with Jeff Lupetin here in the Chicago area. I've also attended introductory voiceover workshops, and I may also have found every voiceover website ever published on the internet while learning about the business!
