My Training

Gina Donello, one of the founding members of the Socially Conscious, World Rock band '2 SUNS', is a vocalist, tanpura player, songwriter, producer and does radio and TV voice-overs. Gina, a native New Yorker before moving to Sedona in 1996, took full advantage of the creative resources available in New York City.

After 10 years of classical ballet, her focus shifted to Italian Opera. She studied with world renowned Master Coaches associated with the Metropolitan Opera and Lincoln Center. Gina attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts before studying two more years of classical music in a New York City University.

Gina feels some of her greatest insights have come from 18 years of cumulative private study which included Opera, Broadway, Cabaret, Radio and TV Voice-overs, Jazz, Ancient Classical Indian Singing and Pop Rock. She spent countless hours performing these styles in various venues in New York, Arizona and Los Angeles.

Gina has been teaching privately for 15 years and loves what she does. Sedona has given her the opportunity to pass on valuable knowledge to students who are having great success in the world. Some of those students include Michelle Branch, Laurie Burke, Glenn Scarpelli, Ralf Illenberger, Eva George, Douglas George, Summer Cygal, Erin Seymour, Nathan Trujillo, Lisa Dahl, Max Giles, Elaine Edelson and with great honor, Master Sculptor Eugenia Everett. She has also taught voice at Verde Valley School under the direction of Arts Director, Zirque Bonner. In June of 2008, Gina completed her 200 hour yoga teacher certification at '7 Centers Yoga Arts' in Sedona.

Presently, Gina is using her knowledge and experience to support her first love and musical style of choice, Rock and Roll. Gina enjoys writing, producing and recording her own original music. Gina's band '2SUNS' has just released their newest CD “Love Revolution”, and it is creating quite the revolution. “Love Revolution” was recorded with Producers Lee Curreri (Fame) and Gavin Christopher at Urban Beach Studio in Marina Del Rey California.
2 SUNS' first video "Beyond the Veil" had a worldwide debut release on November 30, 2008.
