My Voice Experience

I managed four radio stations over 12 years ( 1986 to 1998); WAPG, WKGF AM/FM, & WKHF. These were small market stations in Arcadia and Avon Park, FL. and talent was limited. I, not only provided voice overs for our stations, but also for another station in our market (WOKD). I did everything from several characters in the same spot, to Monster Truck Rally weekends.

My Training

Graduated High School, DeSoto High, attended Manatee Community College and Sanford Community College. I have attended Sales and Management and Air Talent Siminars from Zig Ziglar, Chris Lytle, Tom Hopkins, Peter Lowe and Paul Harvey.

My Studio Equipment

I have owned my own Construction business for the last 11 years. I no longer have any studio equipment, except a wave pad editor, but am familiar with everything from old-school reel-to-reel editing to computer editing programs. I amd sure I could have use of a local studio to produce spots, if necessary.

Additional Skills

I have lived in Florida all my life. So, I am very familiar with Southern accents and learned at an early age that I could mimic the various dialects of, not only other Southerners, but also those of the people flooding in here from all over the country and the world.
