Voice Description
Warm and deep for narrations, smooth and professional for presentations. I have some cartoonie type voices, and can do a few impersonations (Walter Brennan, Jimmy Stewart, and a few more). I can do your spooky halloween type voice and it comes out really creepy Prefer to do short spots, under 60 seconds long, but can do longer recordings, if necessary.

I won't lay claim to fame on anything like this because I'm just not practiced in it.
My Voice Experience
Most of my experience in VOs come from volunteering in radiodaddy, but have done pro-voice in radio a number of times, since I was in that field for about a year.
My Training
I was in speech and drama class in high school many moons ago. My voice has matured since then. I am nearly self-taught. What I mean by "nearly," is that I did have some training by my mentor in radio, Jay Barrymore, a 23 year radio veteran. However, he is more a news reporter and I do have the voice for VOs.
My Studio Equipment
Nothing elaborate. I use two microphones, both Shure performance mics with thick windsocks on them. I have a Teac 8 channel mixer, but really do most of the production work on Sony Sound Forge 9.0 or Adobe Audition (I prefer Sony's audio program).
Additional Skills
I have been in sales for most of my life and do know how to talk to people, even recorded, and get a point across. I know what makes them buy, for the most part. I am very critical of my work, probably far more than most clients. I won't submit anything that isn't going to make me happy I did it. If I am unable to do what it is that you want after a few takes, I'll let you know. But I will do many retakes if you think I have the kind of voice you're looking for.
